Valentine's Shoot with Colter's Hell Justice Committee

Hi, ya'll!  The shooting season is rolling around again, and am I ever glad!  I skipped the "Freeze Yer Buns Off" shoot on New Year's Day to my great disappointment.  The forecast on the 1st called for really cold temperatures, so I stayed home, not wanting to actually freeze my buns off.  BUT...the weatherman was wrong & it turned out to be a wonderful day & I missed a great shoot.  The forecast for the day of the Valentine's Shoot called for snow starting around 9 a.m.  However, when I woke up that morning, the skies were clear & sunny, so I decided to take my chances and go anyway.  And it turned out to be an excellent decision--we had a perfect day.  A little nippy, maybe, for some of you wimps from CA and AZ, but all-in-all perfect shooting weather: upper 30's to low 40's , clear blue skies & not a breath of wind (we did have a little freaky snowfall about mid-afternoon, but we couldn't figure out where it was coming from--there were no clouds!).  That passed quickly, though, and barely ruffled a feather.

Well, I was pretty rusty for my first shoot.  Plus I had a new set of pretty white pearlite grips (Xmas present from my honey, Noah!) on my pistols (which were a good deal thicker than my former grips)...so I wasn't quite up to par.  However, everyone else was even rustier than I was, because I won the match!! Woohoo!!  I'll post the scores below for everyone to see, along with a few pictures of me shooting.

I've started doing a blog for the Colter's Hell Justice Committee & have added a link to that blog here on mine--it's called "The Amazing Adventures of the Colter's Hell Justice Committee."  On it I provide  detailed descriptions of the club's matches and special events, so check that out too--there are lots of great pictures, etc. over there.

Anyhow, here are some shots of me shooting my way to a first place finish:
